Happy Thanksgiving....thankful for...

Happy Thanksgiving!  First of I can't believe it is already Thanksgiving. Where the hell has this year gone?? Second, this was my 3rd year of being a vegetarian and I must say as the rest of the fam chowed down on their turkey and other meat products, I am glad I am a vegetarian :) Third, just a quick list of what I am thankful for: my amazing family and friends, the fun adventures I have been able to embark on, doggies, my health, laughter, Sugarland, NYC, Starbucks and so much more.  I have a great life that I am thankful for everyday!  Have a great Thanksgiving people!

Corn maze that really wasn't....

Well today myself and 5 of my friends took a mini road trip to Lakeland to visit the Smith Family farm and their 2012 Cornfusion.  We were all pretty exited about doing the corn maze they have as well as checking out the rest of the "fall" activities on the farm.  You can imagine how disappointed we were when we got there and found out due to all of the rain we had this "crop season" the corn didn't grow therefore the maze really wasn't a maze. Did this stop of from still attempting to make our way through said maze, hell no!  Even though we could see over the whole field of corn (it only went up to our waist in the high parts) we still weaved our way throughout the maze.  I will say even though the maze was a bust, the hay ride was blast.  First time I had ever been on a hay ride so was nice to check that off the list.  Would have been nice if it had actually been cold out for today's adventure but alas we live in FL where it pretty much never gets cold.  All in all we made it a good time.....even got to shoot a water bottle out of a corn shooter.  Random yet fun :)
